Joel Orta, PLLC
Attorney Joel Orta was born and raised in Puerto Rico's capital, San Juan. He attended his middle and high school years at Colegio San Antonio. Mr. Orta received his Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Campus, and his Juris Doctor from the Inter-American University of Puerto Rico School of Law.
Attorney Orta has always stood out in the sports field. He represented his academic institutions with great success achieving multiple awards as a track and field athlete. Also, since he was eight, he has a successful trajectory in the sport of bowling. Mr. Orta was part of the National Youth and Adult Bowling team of his home country. Through his bowling career, Mr. Orta achieved Gold, Silver, and Bronze Medals when he competed in the Central American, Pan American, and World Cups held during 2003-2010.
Attorney Orta's talent and discipline as a high-level bowler allowed him to travel around the world. These experiences as a professional athlete contributed to Mr. Orta's cultural development and an in-depth understanding of diversity and migratory aspects.
Currently, Attorney Joel Orta practices Immigration Law in Houston, Texas, and the United States.
