Bond Request

An alien arrested and placed in custody by immigration officers may qualify to be released on bond and thus continue their case while released. In a bond request, the immigration judge will evaluate the following: criminal history, immigration history, qualifying immigration remedies, and family ties the immigrant might have in the United States.
