TPS for Central Americans I-821

The countries currently designated for TPS are, El Salvador, Nicaragua and Honduras.

This process avoids deportation and grants a work permit that is renewed every 18 months. It is important to point out that it does NOT lead to lawful permanent resident status. In some cases, if there is an emergency, it allows to leave the United States with a special permit called Advance Parole.
